New York Fashion Week: Marchesa Fall 2011

More luxurious delights of the evening were on the menu of the presentation of the Marchesa fall 2011 collection. It looks like Charles Dickens' Miss Havisham was a popular figure of inspiration this season (Prabal Gurung was also taken from the decomposition of the world Havisham mouse).

Find a world trapped in a break from the romantic Victorian era Chapman and Keren Craig Georgina uses layers of tulle, lace hems frayed unequal complex embroidery and lingerie. For the bride, the duo always imaginative pieces incorporating oversized head and candles. My only criticism is that it would be nice to see some of these creations to move around the track instead of remaining motionless on a pedestal.
